Leisha is a Property + Project Lawyer in the Energy and Infrastructure team with over 4.5 years in the renewable energy sector.
Leisha brings a passion for all things property law and renewables and has extensive experience handling Option Agreements for Lease and/or Purchases, Powerline and Access Easements and various ancillary licence agreements. You will frequently find her chatting all things energy and renewable projects to whomever will listen.
Before joining the team, Leisha worked for one of Australia’s largest wind farm developers working on private land agreements for the development, construction and operation of wind farms and batteries across multiple Australian jurisdictions. Her deep knowledge of land access, and strong stakeholder engagement, makes her an asset to the team.
Leisha holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Commercial Law), a Juris Doctor, and more recently a Master of Public and International Law which has deepened her knowledge on climate-related issues. The combination of her studies makes her a commercially minded lawyer with a focus on finding the best outcome for all parties involved.
Outside of the office you’ll find her either planning her next adventure, cheering on her AFL team (Brisbane Lions), or trying various exercise classes followed by a sweet treat (or two).
