Victoria works as a privacy and commercial lawyer at Law Squared. Previously, she has worked at international law firms as a privacy and technology law associate, with a specific focus on assisting companies to achieve compliance with their privacy obligations from a commercial and legal perspective. In addition to this, she has extensive experience in assisting companies responding to cyber security incidents under cyber liability insurance, especially where personal information has been involved. She has a particular passion for reviewing complex privacy issues, and providing practical, robust advice on the measures which companies can take to mitigate their risk. In addition to this, she also has experience in providing artificial intelligence for legal training as well as intellectual property and consumer protection advice.
She is admitted as an attorney in South Africa, and is in the process of qualifying to practice in Australia.
Outside of work, Victoria is an avid concert-goer, foodie and traveller. When not working, you will often find her listening to the latest metal record.
