Vladimir is a corporate and commercial lawyer with extensive experience advising established businesses across a range of industries on commercial, corporate and regulatory matters. He has a strong track record in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts across their full lifecycle, and has supported clients on capital raisings, business sales and other corporate matters, including the establishment of employee share schemes.
Vladimir also works closely with Law Squared as a Service (LSaaS) clients as their dedicated Relationship Manager. His experience as in-house legal counsel at one of Australia’s largest companies has given him a strong understanding of the commercial and practical approach required of in-house lawyers, as well as the realities of operating in heavily regulated environments. At Law Squared, he has worked extensively with in-house teams in the underwriting, credit services, AI and energy sectors.
In addition, Vladimir leads Law Squared’s AI Practice Area and has advised a number of large clients on AI governance, contracting and responsible adoption, including navigating emerging privacy, data use and intellectual property considerations.
Before joining Law Squared, Vladimir worked for five years as a generalist corporate and commercial lawyer advising a broad range of businesses. Prior to that, he worked in the regulatory team of one of Australia’s big four banks as part of a large remediation project.
Vladimir’s strength lies in understanding his clients and delivering advice that is clear, concise and commercially balanced. He is known for providing practical guidance that is grounded in client needs and easy to apply.
Outside of work, Vladimir enjoys spending time in nature, playing sport and exploring the arts.
