New Advisory Appointments Mark Next Phase of Growth
As Law Squared approaches its 10th year anniversary in early 2026, the multinational leading NewLaw firm is pleased to announce the addition of two highly regarded industry leaders to its Advisory Board and 10 new starters, positioning the business for continued growth and innovation in the years ahead.
Rachael Davidson and Frank Chila, both seasoned in-house General Counsel with deep expertise in corporate governance, tech and private practice, join the firm’s Advisory Board. Under the ongoing leadership of Advisory Board Chair, Nino Ficca and Advisory Board member Sibylle Krieger, Rachael and Frank will bring fresh perspectives and industry insights to steer the firm through its next phase of growth. This milestone comes on the heels of the firm’s strategic international and practice group expansions, and the recent launch of Cubed by Law Squared, its in-house focused legal technology business.

Rachael Davidson, based in London, brings over 20 years of legal leadership experience in the public and not-for-profit sectors. She is currently the interim General Counsel and Company Secretary at LifeArc, a charity dedicated to advancing unmet patient healthcare needs. Previously, Rachael served as Group General Counsel, Assurance and Company Secretary National Grid, where she led legal, compliance, and risk management functions, for National Grid’s UK electricity and gas boards.
In addition to her legal expertise, Rachael is passionate about mental health, having recently completed a Master of Neuroscience. She has been a key advocate for wellbeing initiatives, serving as a non-executive representative on the UK government’s Thriving at Work Steering Group.
Frank Chila, based in Melbourne, is a seasoned in-house counsel and commercial adviser with over 20 years of experience. Frank is currently Global General Counsel at Deputy, and was previously Managing Director - Legal Services AU/NZ at Accenture. Frank brings to the Advisory Board deep experience at the intersection of technology and professional services. Frank also previously served as a non-executive director and the Secretary of the Good Company Foundation, an innovative platform reshaping the philanthropic landscape in Australia.

Alongside the Advisory Board appointments, Law Squared has also bolstered its talent pool with new starters across its various practice groups, ensuring that the firm is equipped to meet client needs into the future.
The appointment of Dan Evans, an insurance lawyer with significant UK experience, enhances the firm’s capability in insurance advisory and subrogated insurance litigation. In the Disputes + Litigation team, the addition of Phoebe Langridge, Emily Loncar as Disputes + Litigation Lawyers, together with Disputes + Litigation Assistant Natasha Filippo, brings a wealth of experience to support increasing demand in the insurance, general commercial litigation and insolvency space.
The Corporate + Commercial team has also welcomed lawyers Claudia Graham, Angella Kim, and Victoria Pillay reinforcing the firm’s ability to provide ad hoc and Law Squared as a Service (LSaaS) engagements with deep expertise in intellectual property, technology, corporate M+A and privacy law.
Dan Chen joins as a lawyer in the Employment team to meet growing employer needs for support across the employment lifecycle and Australia’s evolving workplace relations landscape.
Leisha Millanta, Property + Project lawyer, joins the firm’s multidisciplinary Energy + Infrastructure practice, which is quickly earning a reputation with energy, telecommunications and infrastructure clients for its fixed-fee approach to ad hoc and project work, in support of Australia’s sustainable energy future.
In a key strategic move, Cassandra Hatton, a globally experienced People + Culture leader, formally joins Law Squared as Chief People + Capability Officer to spearhead the People, Capability + Culture function from the London office. Cassandra brings extensive experience from her roles as COO at Vinnies Victoria and non-executive director at Expression Australia.
